03 In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
The Art of Sk8te offers auto-renewing subscription plans (monthly, 6-month, and annual) purchased through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never receive or store your credit card or banking details.
Free Trial: Each subscription plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Restoration: You can restore prior purchases through the app using your Apple ID on any device.
Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple via their standard refund process.
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate the app. Each has its own privacy policy:
Apple App Store & StoreKit — handles all in-app purchases and subscription billing
Firebase (Google) — used for user authentication, real-time database, and cloud storage
Google AdMob — used to serve ads to non-premium users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy
Vimeo / Video Hosting — used for streaming video content. Vimeo may collect playback data per their privacy policy

05 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted via Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure). We implement industry-standard security measures including:
Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in
Firestore security rules to restrict unauthorized data access
Regular security reviews
While we take these precautions seriously, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your account credentials confidential.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
06 Children's Privacy
The Art of Sk8te is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
